Our proprietary cacao bean blend and roasting process has been refined over time by Global Teas, LLC, to minimize the unpleasant bitterness sometimes found in dark chocolate. Cacao beans naturally contain a small amount of caffeine and theobromine, which can have a pleasant and mild stimulant effect without the jitteriness of a fully caffeinated beverage.

Flavor Profile: An enjoyable cocoa aroma with a more pronounced dark chocolate finish that is less sweet than milk chocolate using organic cacao beans. There are delicate notes such as fruity, caramel, nuts, dark chocolate and chamomile and a slight acidity/bitterness from the natural unsweetened cacao bean. This is infused with chamomile, creating a unique, soothing and unforgettable dark chocolate fresh chamomile flavor experience. A perfect after dinner drink. No artificial flavors or preservatives.

Brewing Instructions:
HOT BREW
A French press (SKU #9057) is our favorite, but the ChocolaTea™ Brew Kit (SKU #9179) or a fine mesh tea brewer are also great options. | |
Add 8 oz of boing to your French press or mug. | |
Add 20 g (2.5 level tbsp. or 4 level scoops with the Global Teas Perfect Scoop – SKU #9048) of ChocolaTea™ to your hot water. | |
Stir gently to ensure all of your ChocolaTea™ is in contact with the water. | |
Steep 6 minutes and then gently plunge your French press or remove your brew basket. | |
Pour into a mug, sip and enjoy! | |
Enjoy your ChocolaTea™ straight up or mixed with your favorite creamer and sweetener. |
COLD BREW
Use a ChocolaTea™ Brew Kit glass (SKU #9179) or a cold brew coffee maker pitcher with a very fine mesh filter basket | |
Add 20 g (2.5 level tbsp. or 4 level scoops with the Global Teas Perfect Scoop – SKU #9048) of ChocolaTea™ per 8 oz serving to your filter basket. | |
Pour 8 oz of hot water through filter basket in a circular pattern, stir and cover with lid. If using a pitcher, fill pitcher, seal tight and gently shake. | |
Place in refrigerator. | |
Steep at least 12 hours. | |
Remove filter basket. | |
Stir glass or gently shake pitcher. | |
Remove metal mesh filter basket from double wall glass after draining water and then discard wet ChocolaTea™ material. | |
Pour, sip and enjoy! | |
Enjoy your ChocolaTea™ straight up or mixed with your favorite creamer and sweetener. |
