Green Rooibos Mexican Spice

About Rooibos Tea Leaves:  Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves come from the Aspalathus Linearis (red bush) plant grown in South Africa.  Rooibos is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties.  Rooibos contains minerals including calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and trace minerals, polyphenols and is high in Vitamin C.  It is naturally caffeine-free and low in tannins (so they it has no bitterness).  Green Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves are steamed and dried to prevent oxidation/fermentation.  Green Rooibos has a higher concentration of many of the nutrients found in red Rooibos tea.  It has a mild smooth and grassy flavor similar to traditional green tea.  Our Green Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves are Organic, Halal and Kosher.

Flavor Profile:  Green Rooibos has a mild smooth and grassy flavor similar to green tea but with no bitterness and no caffeine.  We handcraft a flavorful blend of well-balanced complex Mexican dark chocolate spices with a light to medium kick of hot spice and creamy undertone.  The flavor profile of Green Rooibos and Mexican spices are well balanced, to allow for a complex flavor profile mix, while taking advantage of its health benefits.  This creates an enjoyable robust Mexican spice infusion not found elsewhere.  You'll want to drink cup after cup...  No artificial flavors or preservatives.

Brewing Instructions: 

Loose Leaf Tea: 2.5 g (or 1 level scoop with GlobalTeas scooper) to French press for every 8 oz. of boiling water.  Let steep 5 minutes and enjoy! 

Pitcher Brewing: Pitcher brewing calibrations are detailed below.  Once steeping is complete, then remove tea bags or loose leaf tea leaves, pour over ice and enjoy!  We recommend making a pitcher and steep in a refrigerator, then pour over ice and enjoy!
